This is designed to protect owners from having to pay Maintenance Fees when the resort could be destroyed or not worth keeping open any longer. Essentially, the escape clause is a benefit to owners. Should you decide to continue ownership, an extension of 10-30 years can be expected.

Hi, I noticed at the end of the info about this, there was a statement that said, "By participating, you are not entering into a contract to purchase this property. You are, however, expressing serious interest in the property and in pursuing contract discussions". My question is: If we bid and win on this auction, are we only "talking" about it or do we actually win the timeshare? Is there a number where we can talk to you by phone? Let me know ASAP. Thanks

That is a discalaimer from eBay. We always sell to the high bidder and only want people that intend to purcahse at end of auction to bid. Thank you for your email.
