Q: which type is this timeshare, your listing shows 33,500 rci points and fixed week, how can it be both? Thanks, b 25-Apr-09
A: Hi Barbara, Points ownerships always have a deeded or RTU property at the base; the points system is one that the owner paid to opt into through RCI, and the resort being a "points" resort. At any time, an owner can revert to original deeded use. That said, this is a fixed week that has been converted to points at this juncture. To use as deeded, you would need to give RCI 13 months notice. With points, you do get advance points reservation privileges at your home resort, just to say.
