New to Timeshare? Why so cheap?

Q: I am new to time share arena and have a few questions. This auction is for one week at MB each year correct? How many points come with this time share? Am I able to buy more points? Why is this such a good deal versus the 29K I heard about in the 2 hour sales pitch I went to today. Thanks for your time.

A: Hi, Happy to give a little more information. First, there are all kinds levels that timeshares are sold--the deals on eBay vary. From our perspective, we sell low because we have volume-not as much as others, but we have a lot. Our prices vary depending on when use is coming, area, points or non-points. This listing does not have points associated--RCI. It has use which is Floating - Choice of Week 1, 7 - 8, 44 - 46 or 51 - 52. These weeks are considered off season and so on eBay, they are lower priced. If this was a summer week, the price would be much higher.

I am not sure of the price that was quoted to you, but first off, if I may say, 29K would be a minimum amount of points you would need to get you very far. I am happy to help if you like, but some basic questions are what kind of travel do you hope to do? I have some other Myrtle Beach, but we also have points properties--remember with points, it generally doesn't matter where your home resort is UNLESS you plan to defer to your deeded week from time to time. Or, plan to vacation there-as if you own points at a home resort, you get priority reservation time.

Here are a variety [on eBay] to look at that have already been converted to points and just area:
350232966018
230362840067
350226422550
230362259059
350227313545 (fixed week, not points)
230357447611 (floating week, non points)

Anyhow,a lot of information and happy to talk with you if you like.

Kind regards,
